Cardiology Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Consultant to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will play a key role in providing expert care to patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive cardiology services, including acute and elective care, to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
  • Conduct ward rounds and provide cardiology input as requested for patients admitted by physicians.
  • Oversee non-invasive diagnostic services, including CT coronary angiography, trans-oesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.
  • Work closely with the cardiology service at Leeds and integrate rapid access chest pain referrals into outpatient cardiology clinics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
