We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Springfields Fuels Ltd. This role will involve working closely with the Planning Manager to develop and implement comprehensive production plans that meet customer demands and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To create feasible manufacturing plans that align with business objectives and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • To collaborate with Operations teams to identify potential challenges and adjust plans accordingly, ensuring minimal disruptions to production schedules.
  • To proactively monitor and assess associated customer delivery risks, implementing strategies to mitigate any adverse effects.
  • To support the preparation of SIOP plans for monthly local reviews and global review inputs when necessary, maintaining alignment with organisational objectives.
  • To generate various planning scenarios to mitigate delivery risks and assess opportunities for new business, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • To provide support for the mid-term planning process, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and facilitating informed decision-making.
  • To monitor and report on key departmental KPIs, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement to drive continuous growth and development.
  • To foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Business and Product Delivery (B&PD), Chem Services (CMSD), Product Design Group (PDG), Quality, and Global SIOP.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a keen attention to detail, combined with proficient problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data effectively, leveraging advanced proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyse data efficiently.
  • Familiarity with our product streams and customer requirements, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Experience with SAP and NUMIS systems would be advantageous, though not essential.
