About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our facilities team at Warner Bros. Entertainment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, and installation of plumbing systems at our studios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager and issued by the Facilities Administrator.
  • Monitor Health and Safety compliance, ensuring correct PPE is worn as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy.
  • Ensure the site's plumbing and mechanical equipment are maintained to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems, including dishwashers, washing machines, and other asset installations.
  • React to emergencies with a view to implementing a permanent fix or a temporary safe fix to reduce downtime, working through an escalate process for a quick resolution.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing & Heating
  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Installing & Maintaining Domestic Heating Systems
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas Fired Warm Air Appliances)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas Fired Water and Central Heating Appliances)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Heating
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Heating (Gas Fired Warm Air Appliances)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Heating (Gas Fired Water and Central Heating Appliances)
  • Water regulations
  • Use and maintenance of site plant equipment, such as MEWPS (training provided)
  • Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems, including HVAC systems
  • Interpret drawings and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage, and other plumbing-related services
  • Must hold a full UK driving license
  • Capable of dynamic risk assessing activities being undertaken

Working Pattern

You will be required to work a 40-hour week on a rota shift pattern. You may also be required to work evenings and weekends in line with the operating hours of the studio and the studio tour. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
