Job Description: Senior Geospatial Engineer - Data Integration

Searchability NS&D is looking for a seasoned Senior Geospatial Engineer to lead our data integration efforts. This role offers a highly competitive salary of up to £90,000 per annum, plus full bonuses for a position based in the Cheltenham area.

About the Role:
We require a skilled Geospatial Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that our data management practices adhere to industry standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data integration solutions using GIS, leveraging your expertise in geographic information systems and spatial analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Maintain and improve our data management processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, system manuals, and process descriptions.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to define and prioritize project goals, objectives, and deliverables.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in GIS and data integration, with significant experience in designing and implementing large-scale solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, and experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
