We are looking for a skilled Geospatial Data Pipeline Developer to join our team at GHGSat, Inc. in London, UK. As a member of our Analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing geospatial data pipelines to support our mission of driving climate impact.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with specific expertise in geospatial data processing and analysis. You will work closely with our team to develop and maintain our geospatial data pipelines, ensuring high-quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement geospatial data pipelines using various technologies.
  • Integrate new data sources, including satellite and terrestrial, both public and proprietary.
  • Maintain and optimize existing pipelines to ensure high-quality and performance standards.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, with specific expertise in geospatial data processing and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-image.
  • Experience with geospatial libraries such as GeoPandas, Rasterio, Xarray, rioxarray, and QGIS.
  • Familiarity with SQL and geospatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
  • Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containerization tools (Docker), and version control (Git).

Estimated salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
