About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team at SGS Care Ltd as a Residential Support Professional. This role involves working with children aged 6-17 who require therapeutic intervention, providing one-to-one care and support tailored to their unique needs.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 33 days annual leave, a comprehensive onboarding and training plan, and access to management development programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Learning and Educational Aspirations: You will work closely with children to identify and develop their learning and educational aspirations, promoting social and educational activities that help them achieve their goals.
  • Ensuring Children's Needs are Met: You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of a child's life are met, including family contact, appointments, education, and leisure activities.
  • Working Collaboratively: You will work as part of a dedicated team and supportive manager to guarantee every child has access to all the resources they need to thrive.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or Equivalent in Residential Childcare: A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Residential Childcare is required.
  • Previous Experience in Children's Residential Childcare: Previous experience in Children's Residential Childcare is essential.
