Quantity Surveyor Specialist

This role involves managing contract administration, ensuring that contractual obligations are met and contracts are administered effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in subcontract and material procurement, contractor/subcontractor negotiation, cost value reconciliation, and processing monthly valuations and accounts. We are looking for someone who can develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities include:
- Contract Administration: Ensure all contractual obligations are met and that contracts are administered effectively.
- Subcontract and Material Procurement: Source and procure materials and services from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contractor/Subcontractor Negotiation: Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors and subcontractors.
- Cost Value Reconciliation: Conduct regular cost value reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Processing and Agreeing Client and Subcontractor Monthly Valuations and Accounts: Process and agree client and subcontractor monthly valuations and accounts in a timely manner.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with a degree in a field related to the role, such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. A proven track record in Quantity Surveying and Project Management is essential, preferably within a construction company, consultancy, or private practice.
