Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Tutor

Location: Bristol, UK

Salary: £38,850/Yr.

Duration: Permanent full time

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our Training Academy as a Mechanical Tutor on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices and ensuring their success in the development of skills and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering training of the highest standards in vehicle repair to apprentices
  • Ensuring each apprentice is supported in the development of skills and behaviors and provided every opportunity to achieve a successful outcome
  • Providing fair assessments against prescribed criteria
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background as an LV/HV Technician in the automotive industry
  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ/ATA or a similar recognized qualification

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering training to apprentices or skilled professionals
  • A Level 3 qualification in Education and Teaching or equivalent
