Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy and Dispensary Manager to join our team at The Post At Mint Hill Llc. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dispensary and pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the receipt, preparation, and delivery of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs.
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications, providing education and support in a friendly and proactive manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve operational efficiency, including community-based marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach others.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills, with knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems an asset.
