About the Role

Tech Connect Group is recruiting a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their growing team in Farnborough. This role is critical in driving business success by optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting efficient production within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective manufacturing processes and methods to meet quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness targets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tooling and fixtures that support production needs.
  3. Support daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  4. Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in welding, fabrication, or metal forming is an advantage.
  • A background in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and CAD software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP methodologies, and quality control tools.
Working Conditions:
  • Standard working hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 12:00pm on Friday (39 hours/week).
