Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated optometrist to join our team as an A&E Optometrist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals in the local community and deliver exceptional patient care.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments as needed. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and identify potential health risks
- Prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed to improve patients' vision and overall eye health
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in the local community to develop effective treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
What We Offer
As an A&E Optometrist at The Boots Company PLC, you can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Requirements
To succeed as an A&E Optometrist at The Boots Company PLC, you will need:
- A degree in Optometry from a recognized institution
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Excellent clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
