You will be part of a multidisciplinary agile team, working to deliver services that are user-centred, efficient, and effective. Your expertise in service design will help us to create end-to-end journeys that meet the needs of our users, making their interactions with us as simple and quick as possible.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Develop services that align with NHSBT's strategic direction, design principles, and user needs.
  • Lead the creation and iteration of design artefacts and prototypes with key service users and stakeholders.
  • Develop service propositions and service maps to align the delivery team.
  • Champion the use and value of human-centred design tools and techniques throughout the organisation.
  • Design, lead, and facilitate co-design workshops with a wide range of stakeholders, including end-users, donors, patients, and colleagues.

You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which may involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
