Building Control Expert

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Building Control Expert to join our team in ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of the business while maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification/membership (RICS, MCABE) with Class 2/3 RBI status and experience working on large projects such as high-rise residential, mixed-use, hotels. A strong understanding of relevant legislation, fire safety, health and safety, and the construction design process is also essential.
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plan checks, inspections, and consultations to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Oversee restricted activities in evaluating plans, site inspections, and issuing final certificates.
- Ensure competence through ongoing professional development and training.
- Offer client CPD sessions and manage conflicts of interest.
