Job Description:
Tenancy Management Specialist at Niyaa People Ltd

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing tenancy disputes and breaches, including issues related to anti-social behaviour, hate crimes, and domestic violence. This role involves enforcing tenancy conditions through appropriate actions and support interventions for tenancy sustainment. The successful applicant will manage legal proceedings related to tenancy enforcement, representing the company at court hearings when necessary.

The Tenant Services Officer will maintain accurate records on tenancy cases, ensuring timely response to service requests. They will foster relationships with other agencies, tenants, and council officers to support high-quality tenancy management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address tenancy disputes and breaches in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Enforce tenancy conditions through effective communication and support interventions.
  • Manage legal proceedings related to tenancy enforcement, representing the company at court hearings when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records on tenancy cases, ensuring timely response to service requests.
  • Foster relationships with other agencies, tenants, and council officers to support high-quality tenancy management services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as law, social work, or housing management.
  • Basic knowledge of housing law and current housing issues.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, customer service, and IT.
  • Able to prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • Full driving license required.
