Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced £4 million+ refurbishment project based in Carrickfergus. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning and management, supervision of workers and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project planning and management
- Supervision of workers and subcontractors
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Maintaining quality control standards
- Budget and cost management
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Overseeing documentation and reporting
- Managing procurement and resources
- Problem-solving and decision-making
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Certificates in SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works, Scaffold Inspections, and Manual Handling
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and programmes
- Strong understanding of building control and commercial building requirements (non-residential)
- Up-to-date knowledge of current H&S legislation and fire code requirements
- Asbestos awareness training
- Familiarity with M&E packages
- Proficiency in Procore document management system
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience in hotel or healthcare facility projects is desirable
