Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced £4 million+ refurbishment project based in a leading construction company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project planning and management
  • Supervision of workers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance
  • Maintaining quality control standards
  • Budget and cost management
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • Overseeing documentation and reporting
  • Managing procurement and resources
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
Requirements and Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Certificates in SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works, Scaffold Inspections, and Manual Handling
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and programmes
  • Strong understanding of building control and commercial building requirements (non-residential)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current H&S legislation and fire code requirements
  • Asbestos awareness training
  • Familiarity with M&E packages
  • Proficiency in Procore document management system
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in hotel or healthcare facility projects is desirable
