Nursery Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our dynamic team at Wayman Learning Trust in Richmond, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support students' social and emotional development, fostering a love for learning. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of educators to contribute to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
  2. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.
  3. Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
  4. Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  5. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students' parents and colleagues.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a strong partnership between home and school.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Able to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.

Salary

This role comes with an estimated annual salary of £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
