About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site teams on build projects, ensuring all aspects of the mechanical installation are completed to programme, and managing the site teams' progress, sign-offs for the main contractor, health and safety, quality, and material ordering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and monitor the performance of labour and specialist sub-contractors.
  2. Attend weekly site meetings with the Main Contractor to discuss project progress and address any issues.
  3. Ensure subcontractors are working to the latest drawings and specifications.
  4. Conduct site quality inspections to ensure site compliance with client specifications and standards.
  5. Complete onsite check forms as provided by the Main Contractor and Quality team.
  6. Assist the visiting Project Manager with on-site tasks and planning to ensure successful project progression and completion.
  7. Establish milestones required to ensure successful project completion according to the Main Contractors programme.
  8. Raise any issues that could affect project progress to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  9. Coordinate construction drawings with the office and Project Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  10. Ensure that any site instructions are recorded and reported back to the Project Manager.
  11. Maintain excellent Client/Contractor relationships with all involved throughout the project.
  12. Collaborate with the Project Manager throughout the project at every level to ensure successful project delivery.
  13. Ensure that quality and workmanship meet the required standards.
  14. Identify and rectify snagging issues during the project and participate in commissioning and handover to a successful conclusion.
  15. Hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate and relevant Mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ.
  16. Hold a relevant trade CSCS skills card.
