Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Small Animal Department at Cliffe Veterinary Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of long-standing vets and nurses, managing operations, and enjoying clinical freedom with a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 Vets, 11 Nurses, and 14 supporting team members.
  • Manage operations and enjoy clinical freedom with a diverse caseload.
  • Work closely with the Head Nurse and experienced Practice Manager.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A dynamic leadership style.
  • An understanding and experience working with commercial measures such as profit and loss reports.
  • The ability to work closely with the Area Director in delivering business KPIs through considered business planning.

Benefits:

This is a full-time position working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days plus a share in the Saturday morning rota. You will also receive:

  • A competitive salary up to £85,000 per year.
  • A welcome bonus up to £5,000.
  • A relocation allowance up to £5,000.
  • 7.6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Additional holiday entitlement for your birthday.
