Mental Health Therapist for Dementia Care

We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team, specializing in dementia care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. With a strong background in clinical psychology, particularly in dementia care, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
To succeed in this role, you will need a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (DClinPsy or DCounsPsy), registration with the HCPC, and at least 50 hours of clinical supervision experience. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and understanding of dementia care principles will enable you to build strong relationships with patients and families. We offer a salary of £53,775 to £60,504 per annum and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.
