We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casual Coach to join our team at Liverpool Football Club. As a Foundation Phase Age Group Casual Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting and developing young athletes to achieve their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver coaching sessions that cater to the needs of young athletes.
- Develop and implement coaching programs that promote player development and engagement.
- Provide input to the development and improvement of coaching curriculum.
- Coach in a way that encourages players to ask questions, seek feedback, and take ownership of their learning process.
- Ensure players understand the purpose and 'why' behind training sessions.
- Provide learning and development opportunities to volunteer coaches.
- Input into selection decisions and work across age groups.
- Monitor and evaluate player development, providing regular feedback to players and parents/carers.
- Liaise with coaches, medics, and performance staff to ensure player development and injury prevention.
- Ensure all games and festivals are well-managed with a development philosophy clear to players and parents/carers.
- Be available to offer advice, guidance, and support to players on football and personal matters.
- FA Level 2/UEFA C or above coaching qualification.
- FA DBS.
- FA Safeguarding Children.
- FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Emergency First Aid.
