Groundworks Quantity Surveyor

At Hunter Mason Consulting, we're seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including variations and claims, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor agreements, payments, and performance to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate project risks related to costs and contracts, ensuring the project's overall success.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on project financials and progress to stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in cost estimation, contract administration, and measurement.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with project teams.
