Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing enterprise operational database support and maintenance services to a complex range of imagery and geospatial system capabilities in a high availability operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a range of database administration tasks in an ITIL service / SecDevOps environment.
  • Work with delivery teams to onboard new features and functionality, pushing to bridge the knowledge gap within an agile delivery model and ITIL service.
  • Understand and apply SecDevOps and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Provide MS SQL Server 2016 and PostgreSQL DBA experience in an Operational Support environment.
  • Experience of IT architectures and the application of Software/Systems engineering principles within a secure IT environment.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server 2016 support, Windows Server, RHEL, and VMWare environments.
