Job Title: ISDM Centre Manager

The Centre for Innovation in Sustainable Design and Manufacturing (ISDM) at Imperial College London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager to support the day-to-day activities of the centre. The successful candidate will work closely with the Industrial Partnerships and Commercialisation Team to coordinate and promote the use of the centre's facilities for the advancement of the centre's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for the centre's partners and external stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination of the ISDM Centre's activities, ensuring that they meet their deliverables, with the goal of ensuring long-term sustainability of the centre.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industrial stakeholders, organising events and developing a marketing strategy for the centre to engage and utilise research partners.
  • Ensure that the centre's day-to-day administration runs smoothly and efficiently, working with the Department's Research & Finance team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in project management, including influencing the outputs of deliverables.
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging with external stakeholders and suppliers, working effectively with individuals from different backgrounds and levels of seniority.
  • Experience managing budgets and finances on projects.
  • Experience working in a similar role in an Academic environment would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
