Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Executive to join our team at CPJ Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice on health and safety related issues and act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters.
- Monitor industry trends and health and safety legislation changes and advise management on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and update health and safety records and documentation.
- Develop and monitor health and safety training programs for all employees.

Requirements:
- IOSH Certificate or Diploma
- Proven track record in the use of quality tools such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated quality tools
- Knowledgeable understanding of ISO 9001 and adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Excellent communication skills and ability to produce high-quality written reports and presentations
Package:
- Up to £42,000 basic
- Performance Profit Related Bonus (PPRB) - a discretionary bonus of around 8% of salary paid annually
