Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all accounting and financial aspects of our business and its projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present management accounts and reports to senior stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage overhead allocations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and report cost variances to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct thorough financial risk assessments to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare and submit cashflow reports, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and improve financial performance through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Manage and ensure timely payment of wages and associated costs, maintaining a high level of financial discipline.
  • Audit, submit, and pay VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies, maintaining a high level of financial compliance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Professional certification (or working towards), such as ACCA, CIMA, preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using MS Excel and accounting software, with knowledge of SAP an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
