Circadian Clock Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team at The John Innes Centre, assisting with cutting-edge research projects focused on the circadian clock in Bacillus subtilis and its impact on plant-microbe interactions.
About the Job- The successful candidate will assist with experimental design, conduct bacterial cultures, and perform molecular cloning and transformation.
- They will also contribute to writing research proposals and manuscripts, provide data, and collaborate with project partners and external collaborators.
- Responsibilities include working independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or microbiology.
- In-depth knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology experimental techniques.
- Desirable: experience in chronobiology research.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This full-time contract is based at The John Innes Centre in Norwich, UK, and comes with an annual salary range of £30,400-£38,600, depending on qualifications and experience. The contract duration is 18 months.
