Property Counsel (Estates)

Project People is seeking an experienced Property Counsel (Estates) to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Theale and will work in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly build upon knowledge of telecom leases within the role

• Assist with the management of transactions through counsel sessions with legal suppliers and acquisition ADMs, reporting on the same and providing front-line support to legal escalations

• Operate project governance using meetings, work streams, and teams calls to govern the project by surfacing issues, making decisions, and agreeing escalations to ensure the project remains on track and targets are consistently met

• Regularly check in with senior members of both the Estates and Legal & Compliance Team and provide updates on how the overall caseload is progressing

Required Skills:

• Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property conveyancing from a well-regarded city/regional firm

• Solicitor admitted to the role with a current practicing certificate

• Background in practicing commercial Property Law

• Robust understanding of the conveyancing process (Landlord/Tenant law)

• Keen eye for detail, as well as an enthusiastic and proactive approach

• Good commercial awareness with the ability to deliver clear advice
