FM Conway is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our Traffic Light division based in Egham, Surrey. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work on day shifts or night shifts, depending on your preference. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems. By joining FM Conway, you will be entitled to a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, a weekend uplift of £10 per shift, and opportunities for overtime and night work at an industry-leading rate.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting up temporary traffic lights as required
- Assisting with traffic diversion
- Maintaining and removing traffic lights within the required timeframe
- Managing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights, ensuring public compliance
- Working closely with management and crews, taking instructions from the management team
- Ensuring site safety and conducting on-site assessments
- Responding to emergencies, notifying the appropriate personnel
- Being on call, out of hours, on a rota basis if required
To be considered for this role, you must have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card, and possess at least one of the following traffic management tickets: Lantra –, M1/2, M5, M6, 12AB Operatives, and LTMO / TMF. You must also be able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and be aware of and comply with provided RAMS.
