CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with a sizeable business to appoint a Financial Risk Manager - Credit and Collections. This role involves raising accurate customer invoices, reconciling the AR ledger for invoice discounting providers, ensuring timely customer payments, and managing account statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage daily invoice financing notifications to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
  2. Oversee the company's debtor list and credit control, proactively managing risk for collection of receivables.
  3. Raise credit notes as necessary.
  4. Maintain and manage customer credit limits in accordance with the company's credit insurer and calculate credit availability for sales orders.
  5. Prepare overseas invoice schedules for VAT purposes.
  6. Liaise with the Financial Director to maintain the company's stop list.
  7. Undertake monthly invoice financing reconciliation.

Suitable Candidate:

  • Substantial experience working within a busy credit/receivables role.
  • Accounting qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Sage 50 or other Sage software) is advantageous.

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
