About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of expenses, payments, and benefits. Key Responsibilities
• Process payments accurately and efficiently in accordance with AFC conditions and Inland Revenue regulations.
• Produce batch files for transfer to ESR, checking for rejections and errors, and taking corrective action as necessary.
• Provide monthly information requested by finance on expenses paid for recharge purposes.
• Provide monthly figures on carbon emissions to the Sustainable Development Manager.
• Generate reports for ISS on car parking deductions and staff with non-qualifying salaries.
• Manage monthly workloads, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing within strict deadlines.
• Control and quality check documentation received, including expense claims, receipts, and queries.
• Administer payments in line with statutory, national, or local regulations and policies.
• Maintain and update knowledge on terms and conditions for expense payments.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex regulations. You will also need to have experience in financial operations, preferably in a healthcare setting. We offer competitive salary package of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
