This role is a critical component of our consumer-centric approach, focusing on ensuring that consumers have a clear understanding of the information provided to them, enabling informed investment decisions.

The Product Reporting and Disclosures Manager will be responsible for overseeing product reporting, including EMT/EPT/TCFD reporting, to support the business in distributing its products and meeting regulatory requirements.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams, including project managers, business development managers, Compliance, Investor Support, and Data Teams.

The role involves managing external stakeholders, such as sponsors, administration partners, and 3rd party law firms, and requires a good understanding of the four Consumer Duty outcomes and the COLL rule book.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the team technical SME of all product documentation, investor communications, and regulatory reporting.
  2. Take a leading role in the production and regular review of all product disclosures and reporting, ensuring quality control checks are embedded.
  3. Support the business in successfully delivering business/product initiatives that meet regulatory expectations.
  4. Own the KIID and CFD production process, filing updates with the FCA, communicating to all key stakeholders, and publishing within the required timescales.
  5. Maintain and update prospectus documents with non-material updates as part of small changes and annual updates.
  6. Be a key contributor towards the annual Consumer Duty Board reporting.
  7. Create and maintain a framework for communicating with consumers about their products throughout the product lifecycle.
  8. Design communications that are clear, transparent, and accessible to all consumers, including disclosing risks and costs involved.
  9. Understand consumer needs and any vulnerabilities to determine how best to communicate with them.
  10. Review client communications across all channels, ensuring they are in plain-English, jargon-free, and easy to read.
  11. Tailor communications to fit the needs and circumstances of different consumer groups.
  12. Monitor and evolve the communications framework by gathering client feedback and consumer testing.
  13. Ensure team procedures are followed and consistently improved.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide insights into regulatory requirements, keep abreast of changes to the relevant regulations, and participate in association meetings and industry forums.
  2. Provide regular updates to senior management, the Board, and committees in relation to the effectiveness of product disclosures and communications.
