Job Title: Mechanic Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Trainer to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd. As a Mechanic Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and hands-on lessons in mechanics to students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons: Create and deliver structured and supportive lessons in mechanics, adapting the curriculum to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Classroom management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with support staff and the wider teaching team to ensure students receive holistic, tailored education and care.
  • Practical learning activities: Develop and implement practical learning activities and projects that inspire students, helping them to build confidence and real-world skills.
  • Student progress and behavior: Monitor student progress and behavior, implementing strategies to manage challenges and help students overcome barriers to learning.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in mechanics, with either a formal qualification in the subject or significant industry experience.
  • Teaching qualification: A teaching qualification or experience in delivering training or lessons in a professional setting, particularly to young people.
  • SEMh experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs or in a similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff alike.
  • Approach: A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
