Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Composite Design Engineer to join our team at Williams. As a key member of our Vehicle Design department, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced composite components and assemblies for our racing cars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Principal and Senior Engineers to define project scope and deliverables.
- Proactively address manufacturing queries, faults, and other departmental tasks.
- Take ownership of key aspects of the Vehicle Design Vision, Goals, and Strategy.
- Contribute to Research and Development projects within the department.
- Provide technical authority and support to project teams.
- Deputise for Senior Engineers as required.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and innovative, with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree-level qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the motorsport industry.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and good attention to detail.
- Good CAD skills, with experience of NX or other CAD systems.
- Passion for engineering, innovation, and detailed design work.
