Job Title: Composite Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Composite Design Engineer to join our team at Williams. As a key member of our Vehicle Design department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our racing cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Principal and Senior Engineers to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Proactively address manufacturing queries, faults, and other departmental tasks.
  • Take ownership of key aspects of the Vehicle Design Vision, Goals, and Strategy.
  • Contribute to Research and Development projects within the department.
  • Provide technical authority and support to project teams.
  • Deputise for Senior Engineers as required.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and innovative, with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the motorsport industry.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and good attention to detail.
  • Good CAD skills, with experience of NX or other CAD systems.
