Senior Back-End Software Developer, Institutional OTC

Blockchain.com is seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our Institutional team in London. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing low-latency, scalable, and highly performant trading services in Rust, including Order Management Systems (OMS), exchange gateways, risk management systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement low-latency trading services in Rust, ensuring efficient order execution, routing, and management in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Enhance and maintain OMS functionality, ensuring seamless integration with exchange gateways and risk management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and improve performance across the board.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field, applying your expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
- Extensive experience in C++ and/or Rust, with a strong understanding of multithreading, network programming, and performance benchmarking.
- Experience with Python and SQL, with a basic understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clean solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
