Job Description

Role Overview

EdEx is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to support our English education team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide exceptional support to students in English lessons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in English lessons, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering English lessons, including lesson planning and resource development
  • Work with students who require additional support, including those with special educational needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them

Requirements

  • English graduate with a 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong academic record, with a passion for English education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
