Project Quality Engineer Role at SeAH Wind

The Project Quality Engineer is a critical professional role within SeAH Wind, responsible for ensuring project-specific quality requirements are met. This role reports directly to the Head of Quality on all project-related quality matters.

The Project Quality Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining the highest level of quality and compliance in project deliverables. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Project Quality Plans (PQPs)
  • Managing project non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing corrective and preventive actions using 8D/5Why methodology
  • Direct client interface for all quality matters

Requirements for the role include:

Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality Management qualification advantageous
  • CSWIP 3.0/3.1 Weld Inspector Qualification required
  • PCN/ASNT Level II Qualification (DPI, MPI, UT) advantageous
  • NACE Level II Qualification advantageous
  • ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Audit Qualification advantageous
  • Sound understanding of fabrication/machining drawings to support product verification and inspection requirements
  • Knowledge of fabrication, inspection, welding, NDT, coating processes
  • Proven experience as a Project Quality Engineer in a project-based environment
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, APQP advantageous
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the industry or sector of the project
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally as required for project-related activities
  • Full driving license and passport
