We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Orchard Care Homes in Warrington. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring each person living within our homes receives the care they need to live a fulfilling life.

About the Role
  • Care Planning: Assess individuals' needs and formulate person-centred care plans to meet their medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION: Administer medication safely, with additional training provided to ensure competency and knowledge of medications used in our homes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, support, and develop the care team to deliver high-quality individualised care.
  • Communication: Develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise closely with external professionals, individuals, and relatives.
Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or be willing to achieve via our career pathway) and previous experience in Older People's care or dementia settings.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to residents.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.
