We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Registered Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated team at Next Step Independence. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to children and young people in our care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma (Children, Young People and Families) and/or working towards a Level 5 Diploma. You will have at least 3 years of experience working with children in a registered environment, with 1 year at a senior level. A full clean UK driving licence and use of a vehicle are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to children and young people in our care
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff
  • Take responsibility for staff team training and development, supervision, and rotas
  • Ensure continuity of care for each child or young person
  • Monitor the service for quality of care and in line with Ofsted inspection requirements
  • Develop constructive working relationships with the wider community and multi-agency teams
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma (Children, Young People and Families) and/or working towards a Level 5 Diploma
  • At least 3 years of experience working with children in a registered environment, with 1 year at a senior level
  • Full clean UK driving licence and use of a vehicle
  • Inter-agency work
