Job Title: Material Handling Equipment Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Equipment Trainer to join our team at MM Flowers. As an MHE Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for various types of material handling equipment, ensuring the safe and proper use of MHE across all MM Flowers sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for MHE operators, including classroom and hands-on training sessions
  • Assess and evaluate trainees' performance to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with the safety and planning teams to identify training needs and improve overall warehouse safety
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide refresher courses and ongoing training for existing employees
  • Develop and update training materials and manuals to ensure they are current and meet industry standards
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in training and certifying operators on various types of material handling equipment (MHE)
  • Ability to develop and update training materials and manuals
  • Ability to assess and evaluate employee performance effectively
  • Instructor qualifications in PPT, Reach, Counterbalance training
