About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our Environment team at Galliford Try. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various electrical water industry projects, including Pumping Stations, Dosing Systems, and Chlorination plants.

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for outlining engineering from inception to completion of schemes, utilising in-house resources and site installation and construction personnel. You will also be expected to compile and deliver programme updates with Planners, review designs, carry out site checks, and procure materials for our projects.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and project management abilities. You will work closely with the Commercial Team, attend client meetings, and collaborate with site teams to ensure consistent standards across the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions for electrical water industry projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Compile and deliver programme updates with Planners and review designs
  • Conduct site checks and procure materials for projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant engineering qualification in your chosen discipline
  • Experience in a national and multi-site business or Water Industry experience (desirable)
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
