Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling accounts payable and a strong proficiency in accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve working closely with other departments to support their financial needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
  • Experience with accounts payable processes is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
