Credit Controller

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a growing SME in Southampton on a 9-12 month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the external accounting firm to ensure seamless financial processes and accurate invoicing.
- Review and verify invoices submitted to clients, ensuring prompt payment and resolving any discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries and payment discussions.
- Proactively chase debt, utilizing effective communication skills to ensure timely payments, even across international markets.
- Proven experience in credit control, preferably with international client exposure.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
£25-30,000 per annum
