Education Funding Team Lead

Job Summary: Essential Employment is seeking a highly skilled Education Funding Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems related to Education Services finances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payment transactions for education services and commissioning services, ensuring timely and accurate payments to schools and early years settings.
- Implement a new funding system for schools and settings, ensuring seamless integration and confidence in the system among partners.
- Manage the income for the EP service by sending invoices to schools and ensuring timely payment.
- Lead the payment and funding panels, overseeing associated tasks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial operations, with a focus on education funding and payment systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement and maintain complex financial systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with schools, early years settings, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring timely payments.
Working Arrangements:
- Initially, the role will require 2-3 days of office work per week, with the option to work remotely once familiar with the tasks.
- Duration of assignment: 12 weeks.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
- Rate: £19.28 per hour (PAYE) or £25.06 per hour (Umbrella).
