Join Arla Foods Plc as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced food manufacturing site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, proactive, and servicing activities to ensure the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including dryers, water softeners, air handling units, HVAC systems, and water treatment systems.
  • Drive projects to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • Time-served or NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably with experience of working with fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLCs (Siemens), and Site Services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, and HMIS.
