Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Proactive Global. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Work on project-related tasks to improve machinery efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
Requirements:
  • A formal engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical) to at least City & Guilds level 2 or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of automated systems and production machinery.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven mechanical or electrical maintenance skills.

This is a 12-hour day/night shift contract role, with a minimum of 6 months commitment. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of £43ph on an umbrella contract basis.
