Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Employability/Vocational Tutor to work with students, developing their employability skills and helping them gain necessary qualifications for the job market. The successful candidate will be required to create a conducive learning environment, regularly assess learners' work, and actively support, mentor, and motivate learners throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create conditions that promote learner development, skills, and confidence.
  • Awarding body and Ofsted criteria assessments.
  • Support learners in completing their learning aims and qualifications timely.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Relevant teaching qualification minimum PTLLS.
  • Teaching experience within 14-19 provision.
  • Understanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework.

The salary range for this position is approximately £22,500 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. A full, clean UK driving license is also required.
