About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school environment as a supervisory assistant, providing support to teachers and students during term time. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of classroom management.

As a key member of the teaching team, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, implementing classroom management strategies, and supervising students during lessons and breaks. You will also need to liaise with teachers to ensure smooth lesson transitions and maintain accurate records of student behavior and incidents.

The National Joint Council Scale Points (NJC SCP5-SCP11) salary range is £24,790-£27,269 pa (pro rata part time, term time only salary range £20,170-£22,187 gross pa). This role would be suitable for a postgraduate considering a career in teaching, with the school offering support with teacher training for the right candidate.
