Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about education and committed to supporting students in their academic journey?

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with local schools to support pupils in developing their education and assisting class teachers in delivering lessons.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups to help them with their schoolwork and emphasize learning objectives.
  • Implementing lesson plans in conjunction with teachers to provide each student with the specific attention they require to succeed.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school-sponsored events to enhance your education and overall experience.
  • Organizing and arranging classroom supplies and materials.
  • Possessing an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service or being willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Please note that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including a relevant enhanced DBS.
